• OSU totaled full-season school-record with 5.3 yards per rush in 2021
• Helped OSU offense to OSU-record 6.4 yards per play in 2021

ARIZONA (2020)
• Running backs coach
• Arizona rushed for just over 156 yards per game in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season
• Coached Gary Brightwell, a sixth-round selection by the New York Giants

BYU (2018-2019)
• Running backs coach
• The Cougars totaled 52 rushing touchdowns in his two seasons in Provo
• Had five different 100-yard rushers in two seasons
• BYU averaged just under 160 rushing yards per game in each of his two years
• Helped the team to two bowl games; the 2019 SoFi Hawai’i Bowl and 2018 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl
• Coached Ty’son Williams, who signed as an UDFA with Baltimore

RICE (2012-2017)
• Served as the running backs coach from 2014-17
• Opened his coaching career as an offensive graduate assistant from 2012-13
• Mentored running backs Darik Dillard and Jowan Davis, who combined for 4,226 yards and 36 touchdowns in their Owl careers. They rank seventh and eighth, respectively, in the Rice record books
• In 2015, had four running backs tally at least one 100 yard rushing effort, a first in school history. 
• Two of those backs, Samuel Stewart and Austin Walter, were named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team.
• Rice appeared in the 2012 Armed Forces Bowl, 2013 Liberty Bowl and 2014 Hawai’i Bowl during Steward’s tenure in Houston.

• Originally recruited as a quarterback. Moved to wide receiver then tight end
• 2007 Scout Team Player of the Year when Kansas when the Orange Bowl
• Played in 37 career games
• Made five receptions for 31 yards. Recorded three tackles
