Biography
Growing up in the nineties in Miami, Florida, while all of my peers had the desire to play in the NFL, I
wanted to learn the game of football to the best of my ability, in hopes of one day becoming a coach.
After many years of participating in football teams as a youth, in 2007, I was afforded the opportunity
to join the Fighting Illini, starting as a true-freshman at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
As a member of the Fighting Illini, I competed in and won games against some of the top ranked teams
in the nation, such as the Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Penn State. Additionally, I played on the 2008
Rose Bowl team against University of Southern California. Unfortunately, my college career was cut
short due to a few season ending injuries/surgeries. However, I was able to continue pursuing my
Bachelors degree and those setbacks fuel my desire and commitment to coaching and enhancing
team and organizational success at all levels.
After college, I have held several impactful roles across various football programs including most
recently, Coordinator of Player Personnel at University of Maryland, College Park. I’ve also served in
Assistant Head Coach, Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Coordinator and position coach roles
at schools across Illinois and Florida from 2012-2022. I look forward to continuing to contribute my
leadership, professionalism and teambuilding strengths in my future endeavors.
