Broschart replaces Dave Cottle, who spent one season in Annapolis after being hired in December to replace Michael Phipps. He joins the Midshipmen after spending seven seasons at High Point, where he helped the Panthers to a SoCon championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021.

High Point head coach Jon Torpey took the head coaching position at Brown in May.

Prior to High Point, Broschart spent 10 years on John Paul’s staff at Michigan, helping the Wolverines navigate the transition from MCLA to NCAA. A New York Tech alum, he was the head coach of the University of Arizona’s MCLA team prior to the move to Ann Arbor.

High Point ranked No. 25 in IL’s adjusted offensive efficiency rankings this spring. Broschart inherits an offense that finished 53rd in that metric this season.
